Nystagmus

Nystagmus is characterised by involuntary rapid eye movements (‘dancing eyes’ or ‘jerking eyes). Symptoms include vertigo or dizziness as a result of the ‘jerking/dancing’ eyes, which is why patients often acquire a head tilt to counter this side effect.
